Welcome the SCCMS is committed to providing free conflict resolution, through mediation, to the residents of Strathcona County.

If you have an issue to resolve with someone, our trained and impartial volunteer mediators will help find a solution that is acceptable to both of you.

When you call SCCMS, we will:

explain the mediation process
listen to your concerns
if you want to proceed further, we will contact the other party to get their agreement to mediate and make the necessary arrangements to meet everyone’s schedules

What are the benefits of mediation?

it is conducted in a supportive and non-judgmental way

"The Strathcona County Community Mediation Society invites interested individuals to participate as members of the Society. 

Society membership is open to everyone that supports our vision of promoting mediation as a preferred way of resolving conflicts. 

We are in particular need of individuals that are willing to contribute their time by serving as Board members and in otherwise assisting the work of our volunteer mediators. For information on contributing to the Society as a member, please contact Shelly de Tremaudan,
